Having fun painting again............

I have been a bit under the weather....matter of fact most of my family had this terrible virus....Thank god it has been banned from ever coming back into our home....
It started with my son Myles who had it first and was so sick and in bed for a week....poor guy even missed his high school graduation.....then my eldest son Ryan and I both got it the same time and man it hit us hard as well, fever, head ache, stomach flu..... the works.......but we are so thankful we are better and back to normal.....( if you can call us normal)
Happy to say that I was able to  get a little painting done and did I have fun playing................
I am in the middle of taking a class by Mindy Lacefield called Paint your Story

a day at the flea...Ocean Grove NJ Giant Flea Market 2012

our first stop at the flea market is always at the pretzel stand....they make the most delicious pretzels with a mustard bar...we never miss this stand...

it was a beautiful day and the flea market is held right in front of the Auditorium....

loved these colorful pins but (ha ha ha) bet this lady wouldn't be  happy knowing  her butt was in the picture....

weathermen were wrong again...it was a beautiful day down by the beach....

just loved the color of these vintage glass and metal vases....

for lunch we walked along the beach and into Asbury Park and had lunch on the boardwalk.......

 Madam Marie's..... made famous in Bruce's songs....it was another great flea market day....

took me some time, but I am so happy I kept trying to film 

the momma bird busy in our yard..... 

a little garden therapy.....

was weeks behind on our planting............. so today John and I hit all the local nurseries......

aren't these guys great......

the flowers were in full bloom and looking so colorful......

they had so many beautiful tropical plants.it was so hard not to take them all home....

of course I was attracted to all the bright colors......

even the pots were colorful...........

wouldn't he look great in your garden????

isles and isles of colorful beauty.....

its amazing what mother nature created........

hot colors are in this year in fashion and in the  garden.....

we are so lucky to have such  great flowers farms so close to our home.....

I love this place...it is so peaceful and beautiful....................

we love walking for exercise but really it is so nice to go to relax and take in the view....

I am never disappointed here......

nature is so beautiful.........

and the sun was just right..................

love to see that so many are in love and have to make their hearts and marks on the trees.....

the sun was just setting and the park was getting dark in the woods.....but still so beautiful......

I love to make something that I leave behind for someone to find as they walk along their path through the woods....

of course I had to play with the color.....oh what a beautiful day!!!!

Ocean Grove how I love you......

Can't wait for Ocean Grove to be up and running in all her glory...only a few more weeks till the tents will open and be ready for another summer....

Just love strolling this quaint little town, and admiring all the colorful tents, great shops, restaurants and of course the GIANT Flea market......

June 2nd mark your calendars....this is my favorite time of year when all the flea markets and garage sales are happening....
