I am so lucky to have such awesome friends who know what I LOVE!!!!!

look what I got this week......(as I am jumping for JOY!)

my dear friend Mary gifted me a tremendous box filled with her mother in laws jewelry..... she said that she was a lover of jewelry and would be so happy to know that is is with someone who also has a love of jewelry.....

the box had to weigh 30 pounds......Mary said to do what you want with the jewelry and have FUN! and that is what I plan to do.....

my mind is racing with all the possibilities......I can't wait create with all these treasures.... there is so many unusual items that creating is going to be a JOY!

then today this beauty was given to me by another dear friend Jayne......who knew I was on the lookout for a doll house for an up coming project....she got this at our local thrift shop for....  are you ready.........$2.00....omg!!!!!! BIG plans for this baby.......

Ocean Grove's art show the "SPRING FLING"

what a great day for an Art's and Craft show in the quaint seaside town of Ocean Grove....

I was happy to share my tent with my dear friend Vickie....

she sells vintage beads and I sell vintage inspired art and jewelry and together we really compliment each other.......We both have 2 awesome husbands that help us with our craft and we all really enjoy the time we share...

here I am painting an old book for a display in my booth...

even in  my art work I try to get something vintage incorporated into each piece....usually it's the frame or vintage book pages.... 

it was so nice to see the streets of Ocean Grove packed with people enjoying the day.....

these two gals (mother and daughter) from Ocean Grove buying one of my paintings.....they said it reminded them of the tree of life and that they had to have it for a friend...... so happy that my painting made them smile......that's what it's all about.....

I love how Facebook brings friends from your past together.....here is a family friend Bobbie that is so sweet......and it was so nice that she came to support me and see the show.....

the weather couldn't have been nicer...the crowds came and it seemed like everyone was happy to finally have a nice sunny warm day to  venture outside after the horrible fall and winter we had here on the Jersey Shore........

I came home today from work to  find this interesting package in the mail.......

the box was very creative...made up of many interesting scrap booking styles.....

 

it was quite a  colorful package.....I didn't want to open it up and ruin the packaging.....

so Happy that I found so many wonderful friends in the art world...over Facebook and LOVE all the goodies that I have received...... I am a LUCKY artsy gal......

I think this is where she is going to rest for now.....in the kitchen on the shelf so I can admire it while we eat.....

Thank you Diane for being such a caring, kind, sweet and talented artist..... I am happy to call you my friend....and was so happy to find this little cutie in the mail today......love ya....

still waiting for the roses to show off....this was last years beauty......

and one of my favorites.......... the "red bud" tree from last year...can't wait to see her this year......
