| yippee...I made the magazine..my 1st challenge my design top left corner. |
 |
| so thrilled! I got an e mail asking me to participate in another challenge and 5 of 200 were chosen for this challenge.. Keeping it a secret for now...but it was so fun to create for this one.... |

| this was a fabric exchange run by the magazine Cloth Paper Scissors |

| you were to design a piece of fabric using any technique you chose |

| and then cut the fabric into eight 9" x 9" swatches and send | them in |
 |
| you in turn will receive 6 swatches from artists all around the country...this is the package I just received. |

| LOVE all the goodies I found, a great silver purse, an adorable floral bag to the brightest colored Hawaiian shirt, |
 |
| a mini vintage chair, great sparkly bangles, hand mirror, pink plate, vintage necklace, purple china covered bowl and of course the best pretzels..... |

| what a great day celebrating 2 good friends birthdays, flea market and a great lunch.....couldn't ask for a nicer day! |

| I met one of my art students Mary-Ellen and her husband Donald while in Ocean Grove today. It was a nice surprise bumping in to her....We were so nicely surprised when she took us to see her incredible waterfront condo.....this was her front door, you can see she is a talented paper artist before you even step inside.....once inside I was amazed at the view, the colors, and all her great paper projects. Thanks for the tour Mary-Ellen. Hope to see you for some more classes at the cottage this summer. xoxo |
