Vintage2Glam is my idea of reusing vintage goodies, and turning them into something Glam. I love taking vintage finds, and make them modern with wonderful colors and a vintage twist..... love to incorporate them into my own vintage inspired art an accessories. Pleased to say that my jewelry was worn my Ellen Burstyn in the movie "GRETA" starring Ellen and Hillary Duff filmed in historical town of Ocean Grove N.J.

a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art

needed a little art therapy today so off to Philly we went..

can't believe that we have never been here before......and was only about an hour and 15 minute drive....

we entered the museum and just as we were getting ready to pay a woman asked if we wanted a free ticket....and handed us a  $25.00 ticket to see "Discovering the Impressionists" I thanked her and wanted to offer her something for the kind gesture and she disappeared..... she was so kind and really made our day.....

I must say it is a gorgeous building.....

we were excited to see this show and it didn't disappoint.  It was crowded but the lines kept moving and we loved listening to the headsets that were provided....
I must say this is one HUGE museum with so many wonderful exhibits to keep everyone interested...

was a perfect little get-a-way.....

after the museum we wanted to hit this place that we had visited once before called
 Memphis Taproom
We first heard about it from Diners Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Channel a few years back.

OMG! this is the vegan Smoked Coconut Club with tomato mayo..you would never guess that they smoke coconut and it tastes like bacon.... and the beer battered kosher dill with horseradish buttermilk dipping sauce.....worth the drive just for them....

Well we were happy to get out for the day and what a great day it was....
I will be making sure we do this more often.
Hope you had a nice Sunday!

I have been teaching classes in the gorgeous gardens of Centennial Cottage for many years now and was the 1st to introduce art classes to the Historical Society.  This year I am excited to be teaching 8 classes. I love to share with you my love of the arts by teaching fun and creative classes, and hope that you could find a class or two to spark your interest and to possibly try a new craft.  It really is an enjoyable day learning a new hobby or craft and connecting with people from all over the tri state area and beyond. Many people come back year after year, and make a day of it.  After class you can get lunch in one of the many restaurants in town or a short walk to Asbury Park.  Ocean Grove has 2 great ice cream parlors, and of course the gorgeous beaches, so grab some friends and come get creative in the gardens.  I promise you that you will enjoy your day!!!
