Finding the kid in all of us.....

Stumbled upon this adorable little toy store called Sunbeam Toys in Frenchtown NJ

I was in heaven............the most adorable shop...... with a very sweet owner....

the way this shop was decorated and all the merchandise was a treat for the eye.....

so many interesting toys, dolls, paintings,  that both kids and  adults would love...

it was a pleasure to visit and  can't wait to return........

here are the goodies that I couldn't resist............If you are ever in Frenchtown or in New Hope where they are opening a new shop stop in you will not be disappointed.......

Tomorrow is my hubby's b-day and I thought I would take him out for the day.......

and what a beautiful day it was................
the weather was perfect..................

we headed down to the beach.......

first  stop was  Ocean Grove for some garage or cottage sales.....

then lunch in Asbury at McLoone's on the boardwalk...

the sky was so beautiful, the deepest blue.....

so many photo opps..........

is she just the cutest...... this is Pixie Lynn......I want a bike with a basket for my dog.....(hint hint)

we even made it to some of the art galleries in town.....

love this piece....tiny tiny pieces of plastic pinned onto a board......very interesting.....

we always look for shells and John found this special one.....

we  ventured to the highest point on the eastern sea board....

and the view certainly did not disappoint..........

Local Farm Markets.......

We love shopping local and supporting our farms...and we are so lucky to have some really great farms right in town.......

Hauser Farms is so close and have an amazing selection of  produce........

always fresh..

and the owners couldn't be sweeter...........

 peppers are so colorful and so many varieties....

just love that they have so many goodies......

and the apples...so many to choose from......hurry because they are going quick...............  

                   they say it is a banner year for the apples..........

Wow!!! Where has the time been going?  It's already fall.............not that I don't LOVE fall but seems like time is slipping away.................

I have been so busy art wise that haven't had a chance to anything  else............but I am not complaining, because creating art is what I love to do.....

I wanted to get some pumpkins but didn't have time to do our annual fall pumpkin hunt..... so we tried going to our local farms and so Happy we did......................

this farm market right in our town had some of the most amazing pumpkins I have ever seen......

I have seen so many interesting and unusual pumpkins for years in the magazines but could never find them locally......until now at Cheesequake Farms...here in Old Bridge.....

it was the perfect fall day.............sunny, crisp,clear and perfect for taking a few pictures of these beauties.....

what's not to love about this time of the year...

the colors, the shapes...........

and all those sizes ...........

there was so many to choose from...

each one was special.................

we narrowed it down to a few......................not an easy thing to do............

had to snap this last photo on the  farm.......so happy we shopped local and so happy that they had so many interesting pumpkins...................

next stop will be Hauser Farms for some amazing apples......can't wait to make some applesauce and some pies.....................
