Vintage2Glam is my idea of reusing vintage goodies, and turning them into something Glam. I love taking vintage finds, and make them modern with wonderful colors and a vintage twist..... love to incorporate them into my own vintage inspired art an accessories. Pleased to say that my jewelry was worn my Ellen Burstyn in the movie "GRETA" starring Ellen and Hillary Duff filmed in historical town of Ocean Grove N.J.

playing with paint and paper......

His was one HOT week at the Jersey shore and to keep cool we headed to the beach, I never travel with out my art supplies and was busy painting away for my SEWN class....

I painted the papers and cut them into thin strips

and then sewn them together......

then sewed this hexagon shape and then started on a mini travel journal for me to take along with me on my summer travels......

I have plenty of sewn paper strips and love incorporating them back  onto  my journal pages.....

having some fun trying to use up all my scraps.....

well happy to say I have paper journal #3 ready to be painted, patterned  and doodled up..........

love playing with different size pages and folds......

I love the size of this little journal, easy to take with me to occupy my time where ever I may go, and can easily fit in my bag.....

now I have 3 painted paper journals just waiting for me to fill up....

  2. Oh! Oh Oh SOOO very delightful!! Love everyone of them, especially the mini journal with boat....really wonderful!! I see you have a Bernina....I have been sewing on my cheapy Singer for paper worrying that it might mess up my good Bernina....do you find any problems with using your GOOD machine....thinking it might be easier in the long run....but I sew with fabric too and was wondering about the paper being too hard on a machine. Your work is wonderful!!

    1. Oh!!! thanks so much.... I always use my Bernina and have had no problems with it...(knock on wood)I live very close to a sewing shop that only sells berninas if I have a problem......I think it is less lint so maybe better on machine.....I have to check out your work... enjoy your day! and thanks again
