so happy I spotted the info about the festival from the Beekman Boys... we learned about them at the country living fair in duchess county New York back in the spring.....you can find more info here about up coming fairs.....http://dutchessfair.com/http://dutchessfair.com/ |
the tiny quaint town of Sharon Springs was jumping this weekend, they had some adorable live stock such as these little cuties, that I was told will grow to be about 150lbs....... |
couldn't resist getting to know Mamma Drama....she was as sweet as can be..... |
we stopped for lunch at the American Hotel and was amazed at how charming the building and the hosts were.....we had the most fabulous lunch made with all local ingredients...... we will for sure visit here again...... |
the town was all spruced up for fall and every where you looked there was the colors of fall... |
there were farm stands, crafts, food vendors, live stock, beer gardens and a whole lot of super nice people .... |
it was a few hours drive for us and we are so happy we didn't listen to the weather men who kept talking about RAIN..... It turned out to be the best fall day in this adorable country town...... |
Beekman 1802 was so crowed and oh so special.....a must see store........ |
we had to find the farm where it all started and that too was picture perfect....... |
you couldn't dream of a prettier place and surrounding farm lands..... |
every where I looked I saw an opportunity to snap a picture..... |
so peaceful and serene....I now know why they fell in LOVE with this town... |
Thanks for a fabulous day Sharon Springs NY......
